CBW AFRICA Business Conference 2025

The Commonwealth Business Women Africa (CBW-Africa) is dedicated to implementing the Gender Plan of Action and Commonwealth Charter across the 56 Commonwealth nations, fostering greater investment in gender equality and women’s empowerment. Our vision is to create a world where women and girls can fully realize their potential and actively participate in decision-making processes.

The CBW-Africa Nigeria Summit will build upon commitments made at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2022, addressing gender equality, women’s empowerment, youth participation, and the implementation of the Commonwealth gender plan of action. It will also reflect on progress made since the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in 1995, while emphasizing the importance of Women, Peace & Security (WPS).
